These unique spurs are unmarked. They are small ladies nickel plated spurs. 4 1/2" overall length, 2 7/16" inside heel width, 1 1/8 " shanks, 15 point 1" spoke rowels. Both the inside and outside buttons are hearts. They are used with some flaking, scratches and rust spots. Several years ago, we purchased two set of them at an estate sale. When we bought them they were sold as McChesney - 123 pattern spurs. However we are not sure that McChesney was the maker of these spurs. It is possible that they could be an unmarked pair of August Buermann spurs. We have tried to identify the maker and believe it was either August Buermann or J. R. McChesney. A friend of ours who is 81 years young, claims that his sister had a pair of spurs like these when he was a kid. So the only thing we know about them for sure, is that they date back to at least the 1930's or 1940's. We have decided sell this pair and keep the other for our collection.
